Conference and Father Bafoonery

I was SO excited in conference about when Elder Christopherson talked about fathers!  He mentioned how in the media father figures often look like bafoons, incompetent, and unimportant.  His talk was about helping understand how much we need men in our lives and the effect of good fathers.

    I loved this talk! Men get degraded so much in modern society, and I thoroughly enjoyed Elder Christofferson expounding on how wonderful and necessary fathers are, and what they can do to be good fathers, which I would say applies to parenting in general.

    I agree. It was nice that someone addressed this as a real concern, especially as we saw in the winning poster that the research backs it up too!
